Join Us For the Summer!

Courtesy Boat Inspectors attend the four public boat ramps in Raymond, inspecting in-coming and out-going boats for plant and animal material to prevent the spread of invasive aquatic species into our lakes. CBIs are the point people in educating boaters on the dangers posed by invasives, the importance of inspection, and methods for doing their own inspections whenever they move their boat from one waterway to another.

CBI inspectors work between 8 and 30 hours per week, helping boaters inspect their boats when entering and leaving Raymond lakes and reporting their efforts to the DEP.
